"IMAGINATION HAS NO AGE" This "Color the Story Adventure Book" is intended as both a learning aid for young readers (story plus pictures) and as activity pages to add "color" to the characters and settings provided. The backdrop for this "self-artist" illustrated story is a fanciful, early-American village called "New Colony," which is populated by a diverse group of Critters working to overcome the challenges of living in the wilderness. The Series this publication is based on includes audio books and CD's, printed books, e-books (some with "Magic Motion Illustrations"), and other learning/reading aids that stress the importance of being responsible, being independent, and working together in challenging situations. They also showcase how America, from its beginnings, has benefitted from the skills and talents of individuals from many different cultures and backgrounds. ABOUT "CRITTER ADVENTURE TALES"

The authors of the "Critter Adventure Tales" series, Roger Hukle and Elizabeth Hille, in collaboration with production/graphics designer Susanne Arens of Crystal Peak Design, performance artist/voice talent Mark T. Epperson, and educator E. Fred Wagner, are working to create a series of audio, electronic, and printed learning tools to assist young students in developing the reading, writing, and comprehension skills that are critical in having success in both academics (at all grade levels) and their eventual careers. Whether English is a primary or a secondary language (combined estimates of speakers which exceed 1.4 billion people worldwide), beginning the language/learning process at an early age provides benefits that literally last a lifetime.
