Looper's World: The Adventures of Looper Inchworm tells the story of a little green inchworm who spends all his time, every day, carefully finding and measuring the oldest leaves on his home plant, and eating them. He's a happy inchworm -- or so he thinks....One day, Looper meets a bright yellow and black caterpillar, Cattywumpus, who is excited about flowers instead of leaves -- especially fragrant ones, and roses best of all. But Catty has trouble convincing Looper to even look at a flower. The caterpillar is determined to follow his nose, and convinces the inchworm to come and see a bright red rose in the distance. An adventure begins that changes the two friends forever.

N.H. Shuman is both the author and illustrator of Looper the Inchworm. This is her second book for children, and it is the back story for her first book, Big Yellow Butterfly. Her engaging characters face unexpected challenges, go on adventures, dig deep to find answers, and achieve their goals, sometimes fast, sometimes slow, but always just in time. N.H. Shuman enjoys painting in watercolor and oils. She is working on a number of new stories and novels. She received her BA in English Literature from the University of Virginia. She went on for her Masters in Education in 2009 at Regent University. In addition to her art, she is a freelance writer and editor. Her main identity is mom of three, and grandma of one!
