Violet has survived a year of the zompocalypse—despite the fact she was bitten by a zombie on day one, occasionally eats people, and has no cardio ability whatsoever. Now she’s living in a community called Harmony, trying to piece her life back together following the loss of one of her closest friends. But things in Harmony are not always as they seem, and Violet's world—as usual—becomes more complicated than she ever could have anticipated. She has to deal with dwindling food supplies, a leader with psychopathic urges, and her continuous desire to eat human flesh—and if that wasn’t enough, the return of someone from her past threatens to rock her entire foundation. She has always been fascinated with stories about living through an apocalyptic event, and with characters who feel so real that they become part of the reader long after the book was put away. She wrote the first draft of Alive? at 16 and has been hooked on writing ever since. She lives in Essex, UK.
