About the Author: Shelby Voeltz is a writer, human mom, and dog mom. Originally from Rockford, IL, Shelby now lives in Minneapolis, MN with her husband and daughter. About the Illustrator: D. C. Ice is an artist, a mama, and a wife. She creates art out of her home, a loft in the old Schmidt brewery turned arts community, in St. Paul, MN.
