Description
The word strategy has been used from times immemorial and it is taken from the word Strategtia in Greek around 400 B.C. This word was used in art and science of military forces. Strategy is the determination of the basic long-term goals and objectives for an enterprise and the adaption of action and allocation of resources necessary for carrying out these goals (Alfred Chandler 1962). Strategy is about competitive position, about differentiating yourself in the eyes of the customer, about adding value through a varied activity different from those used by competitors (Michael Porter, 1996).
